Hugh Hefner’s former girlfriend, Kendra Wilkinson, says she would love to visit South Africa for the World Cup with her new baby and husband – but only if she finds a baby-sitter. The busty 24-year-old TV personality and model returned to South African screens this week in the new series of her self-titled show on E! Entertainment.
Wilkinson found fame on The Girls Next Door reality show as one of 84-year-old Hefner’s three girlfriends. She left the Playboy mansion in 2008 and last year she tied the knot with American football player Hank Baskett. In December she gave birth to their son Hank Jnr.
In an interview with The Times, Wilkinson said: “I’d love to visit and come to the World Cup with my family. I just don’t know how that would work with the baby. I need a nanny.
“It’ s so amazing how, all over the world, there are people who know me … [even in] South Africa. “It’s the biggest thing for me to know that there are people who follow me. [That] really keeps me going.” During her stint at the Playboy mansion, Wilkinson was the wildest of Hefner’s girlfriends. But she had to “grow up” after the birth of Hank Jnr.
She said: “Oh my gosh! Being a mom and a wife is not as easy as I thought. I have friends who love to party… that had to go. I party less than I used to. “I don’t take my top off anymore like I used to when I wasn’t a mother or a wife.”
But she has not entirely lost her wild streak. “I can still do that with my husband. He really loves the ‘wild me’ the way he found me,” she said, giggling.
